A lecture given by prof.  Dariusz Jemielniak, the author of “Życie wirtualnych dzikich. Netnografia Wikipedii” (“Life of virtual savages. Wikipedia Netnography”), the first sociological book on Wikipedia.

The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion on the future of Wikipedia, attended by Dariusz Jemielniak, Natalia Szafran-Kozakowska, head of press office of the Wikimedia Association Poland and Sebastian Wallroth, deputy president and founding member of Wikimedia Deutschland. The representatives of the Wikimedia Foundation have not yet confirmed their participation in the ceremony.

Unveiling of the Wikipedia Monument

Słubice, Frankfurt Square (in the direct vicinity of Collegium Polonicum)

- Welcoming speech given by the Mayor of Słubice, Tomasz Ciszewicz

- Laudation for the monument given by Krzysztof Wojciechowski

- Speeches by the representatives of the Polish and German cross-border region

- Greeting the national representatives of Wikipedia from Poland, Germany and the USA:
