About the library

The library provides scientific background for research and teaching programmes conducted at Collegium Polonicum by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).

The library is specialized in collecting materials on Polish-German topics and literature in such fields as law, Polish and German philology, history, political science, spatial management, and digital studies. In the library, about 130 titles of printed magazines are made available; there is also a possibility to use digital interlibrary loan service Academica and the digital collection of the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder).

Our library is affiliated by FamilySearch.

The book collection is arranged thematically, with free access to shelves without the traditional division into reading room and lending room.

The library building provides very good working environment and easy access to media collection and other sources of knowledge, not only for students and researchers from partner universities, but also for all interested users.
