Kinga Wieczorek

Kinga Wieczorek is a political scientist, data analyst, and a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her research interests focus on lobbying, interest representation and advocacy, as well as political consulting, with particular attention to the role of interest groups in decision-making processes.

In her doctoral research, she explores issues related to strategies and values in climate policymaking processes in selected supranational decision-making centres. She actively participates in international conferences and academic seminars. She is a member of the Polish Political Science Association and the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (USA).

Key Research Experience:

  • 2024–present: Principal Investigator of the IDUB Minigrant project “Responsible lobbying in climate policymaking in Poland”.
  • 2021–2023: Research Assistant in the Polish–German research project “‘Knowledge is Power’: The Boundaries of Political Consulting and Lobbying in the Political Decision-Making Process”.
