- Conducting research and development activities within the above-mentioned research areas.
- Providing new knowledge on transformations occurring in contemporary reality as a result of technological development.
- Undertaking research aimed at describing the socio-political reality of the digital age, as well as formulating concrete theses concerning public policy, national and supranational regulation, and governance in response to newly emerging digital technologies.
- Conducting research on the political implications of new technologies, in particular their interference in the public sphere, their impact on communication patterns, political participation, and relations between actors.
- Investigating ideological and conceptual reconfigurations of contemporary digitalised societies, including a critical perspective on the digitalisation of the economy and the algorithmisation of everyday life.
- Conducting research on ethical issues related to the application of technological solutions, including data and algorithmic bias, as well as ideologically motivated approaches (e.g. technological solutionism).
- Organising teaching activities within the Master of Digital Entrepreneurship degree programme offered by the European New School of Digital Studies, implemented as part of the cooperation between Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the European University Viadrina.
- Developing and maintaining ongoing cooperation with partners from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) within the framework of the European New School of Digital Studies.
