Visit to the Slavic University in Baku
On March 2, the Slavic University in Baku hosted a ceremonial celebration of the 30th anniversary of Polish language teaching, organized as part of the conference ,,Language as a Space for Dialogue: Azerbaijan–Poland Relations.”
The celebrations were attended by representatives of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, including Rector Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, Dean of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology Krzysztof Skibski, and the Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Academic Affairs at Collegium Polonicum in Słubice, Prof. Justyna Krauze-Pierz.
During the visit, Prof. Justyna Krauze-Pierz conducted classes with students and met with the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation.
A particularly significant moment of the celebrations was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Slavic University in Baku and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The agreement provides for the development of joint research projects, student and staff exchanges, and further strengthening of relations between the two universities.
Soon, a group of students from the Slavic University in Baku will visit Collegium Polonicum to improve their Polish language skills and deepen their knowledge of Polish history and culture by participating in classes alongside students of the Polish Studies program.
