Contest for the best thesis 2026

Collegium Polonicum announces a contest for the best thesis, aimed at honoring the outstanding academic achievements of our graduates and their supervisors. It is not only a distinction for the best works but also an excellent opportunity to showcase the results of one’s research passion and commitment.

Why is it worth participating?
The contest promotes ambitious theses, supports the scientific potential of students, encourages further academic development, and highlights the important role of the supervisor in the educational process. The awarded works will also serve as a showcase of our institution and an inspiration for future cohorts.

Who can apply?
Theses defended by 30 September 2026 may be submitted by graduates of the following programs:

• Polish Studies,
• Digital Entrepreneurship.

How to submit a thesis?
The thesis must be submitted by the supervisor, who should send the complete set of documents to katarzyna.kochanska@amu.edu.pl by 1 October 2026.

Required documents:

• a completed application form,
• the graduate’s consent,
• a PDF copy of the thesis.

Evaluation criteria:

• Originality of the topic
• Relevance and importance of the research problem
• Methodological accuracy
• Academic value
• Structure and clarity of the thesis
• Quality and currency of the bibliography
• Linguistic correctness

Awards:

• A tablet – the main prize funded by the Foundation for Collegium Polonicum,
• Diplomas for the laureate and the supervisor of the awarded thesis.

The results will be announced during the Inauguration of the 2026/2027 academic year at Collegium Polonicum.
