On 16 April this year, a delegation representing the Polish Studies programm took part in the 5th UAM Student Research Clubs Day, held at the Faculty of Chemistry.

On 14 April, a lecture entitled “From ‘polnische Wirtschaft’ to ‘polnische Wirtschaft’: On the Power of Stereotypes” was held at Collegium Polonicum. It was delivered by Prof. Igor Kąkolewski, Director of the Centre for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin.

On March 2, the Slavic University in Baku hosted a ceremonial celebration of the 30th anniversary of Polish language teaching, organized as part of the conference ,,Language as a Space for Dialogue: Azerbaijan–Poland Relations.”

We are pleased to announce that the Presidium of the Polish Accreditation Committee, by Resolution No. 72/2026 of January 29, 2026, issued a positive decision regarding the program evaluation of the Polish Studies program offered at Collegium Polonicum in Słubice, a branch of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

On February 5–6, 2026, the 26th International Academic Conference from the series ,,Europe of the 21st Century” was held at Collegium Polonicum.

On February 3, 2026, a Border Guard conference entitled “35 Years of Polish-German Cross-Border Cooperation - Security Without Borders” was held at Collegium Polonicum. The conference accompanied the opening of the new headquarters of the Border Guard unit, as well as the Polish-German Center for Cooperation of Border, Police and Customs Services in Słubice.

We are pleased to inform you that Laura Sznajder, a graduate of the Polish-German Legal Studies program, jointly conducted by the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Faculty of Law of the European University Viadrina (EUV), has been honored in the 2025 edition of the competition organized by the General Conservator of Monuments and the Association of Monument Conservators for the best diploma theses in the field of heritage protection and museology.
